Dani “D. McGhee” Barlow

Dani McGhee Barlow, a Memphis native, has made a profound mark in the gospel entertainment sector. Her musical journey began at the tender age of five, leading her to perform with esteemed choirs such as the Tennessee Mass Choir and the Stellar Award-nominated Darrel Petties and Strength in Praise.

Her dynamic voice has graced both gospel and R&B stages, providing background vocals for legends like Karen Clark Sheard, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, and Jennifer Holiday, among many others. Dani’s dedication to her craft and her commitment to spreading the love of Christ through music makes her a beacon of inspiration in the music industry. Her album Unveiled (2019) showcased her unique style, a blend of tradition and contemporary artistry.

KaSandra Latrelle Barrett

KaSandra Barrett, a Raleigh Egypt High School graduate, has walked by faith throughout her musical journey. She began playing the drums at 13 and later honed her vocal and instrumental skills as part of BG3 with her siblings. Her commitment to church and music ministry was influenced by her mother, a minister of music.

A passionate giver and motivator, KaSandra continues to inspire through her dedication to musical excellence, faith, and community service. Her ability to touch lives through music is a testament to her devotion and purpose-driven life.

Re-Chandra Chism

Re-Chandra Chism is a multifaceted talent—an early childhood educator, facilitator, entrepreneur, author, and worship leader. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, she understands the power of music in shaping young minds.

Her role as a Praise and Worship Leader at Pursuit of God Transformation Center has allowed her to merge her love for music with her passion for teaching. She has transformed learning experiences for children by integrating songs, rhythms, and movement, fostering confidence and communication skills through music.

Rose Futch

For over 30 years, Rose Futch has been a steadfast presence in the Memphis music community. A devoted member of St. James M.B. Church, she has served as Minister of Music, guiding choirs and worshippers with her exceptional skills.

Her musical journey began at the age of 16, playing piano for her father’s church. She has since contributed to numerous choirs and organizations, including the Memphis District Association and the Tennessee Baptist Missionary and Education State Convention. A composer as well, her song "Welcome to Memphis" was published in the National Baptist Woman’s Auxiliary Magazine in 2010.

Denise Harden

Denise Harden’s love for music began with the jukebox in her grandmother’s café, where she was introduced to various musical genres. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church Chelsea Uptown, she developed her passion for gospel music through choir participation.

Denise’s voice has echoed through Snowden Elementary and Junior High School choirs, as well as the Memphis District Association Mass Choir and Women’s Chorus. Her role as Program Director at WLOK Radio further cements her influence in the music industry.

Melvia “Chick” Rodgers

Small in stature but possessing an immense voice, Melvia "Chick" Rodgers is a powerhouse vocalist with a career that spans the globe. A graduate of Melrose High School, her discovery as a sensational talent occurred during a USO Tour in Germany.

Her performances have taken her to Brazil, Italy, Finland, Paris, and beyond. Sharing stages with legends like Patti LaBelle, Shirley Brown, and Isaac Hayes, she has left an indelible mark on blues and soul music. With multiple acclaimed recordings, Chick Rodgers is a living legend whose contributions to music are celebrated worldwide.

Dr. Fedoria Rugless, Ph.D., CCRP

Dr. Fedoria Rugless is a brilliant fusion of academia and music. The founder and CEO of Holistic Harmony Inc., she specializes in health, wellness, and musicianship. Fedoria’s musical journey began at age three at Birmingham Southern College Conservatory of Music.

An accomplished pianist and vocalist, she has served in music ministries across Alabama, Ohio, and Tennessee. She is a vital part of the Music and Creative Arts Ministry at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church and has performed with the Memphis Symphony Chorus. Among her numerous accolades are Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 and the American Heart Association Mid-South Woman of Impact.
